continue of the crick

Maddy was the brave one who was trying to dam the crick in the tunnel. At the end of this tunnel is a pond. We reached our destination but unfortunately each of our children had to practice swimming on their own not by any one's choice. Lilly continued running in the tunnel and did not realize their was a drop off and luckily Uncle Kip was right their to see her body go under and he scooped her out. A little scary. Then as we were walking to the grass on the side of the tunnel it dropped off again and Jaydn slipped under. Once again Uncle Kip came to the rescue. Maddy could not be left out of this, so as she came to the drop off she fell into the water but swam and kept herself afloat until Aunt Katie scooped her out. The walk back home consisted of each of them balling and being held.

This is all of us happy before we ran through the tunnel of water.

Half way through KT takes a picture of us and we hear Olivia screaming. Hmm we better catch up. Thankfully Uncle Kip was with the other kiddos.

This was our trek back to the house, by now all the kids are better. But Lilly and Maddy still wanted shoulder rides.

Yep we had to walk home on the exit of the freeway because it was getting too dark to trek back through the crick to get home. There is my hometown sign. I love the crick.
