Olivia, Gabriella, Madalyn, and Jaydn all ready to walk to Standford Avenue to start our first day of school.
Here are there cool poses. Maddy was so excited to start school this year. Maddy kept telling me if she were scared then she could just hang out with Olivia and her friends she already knew.
Here is Olivia's cool pose. She too was super excited to start school this year. No signs of being nervous to stay yet...
He is in a class with two teachers who split the week. We pray that it goes well.
I did have to shed a tear or two thinking of how fast time has gone by. It was not too long ago that we were praying that they would be healthy happy babies and obviously our prayers were answered. Now off to school.
They have been in school for 9 days now and I really do miss them a lot. They are pretty exhausted by the time they get home so some days we have 3 grumpy kiddos after school. They will adjust soon though.
Mrs. Will's Kindergarten class. I am a little frustrated with the state budget crisis that we are in. It has truly affected our schools decision process. Budget cuts cause our kids to have mandatory full day kindergarten along with 30 kids per classroom, an aide for only 3 hours of the day. It is so sad. Really that is too many little 5 year olds with one teacher. We are fortunate to have 30 kids, a local school in our district had 40 to a class, now that is insane.
The first day was a little scary for Maddy and Lilly. They did start to cry when I left, luckily I had them play with a friend from preschool (Grace) and that took their minds off of the scary part of your mom leaving you with a bunch of strangers. They have loved school since then.
