Happy Groundhog's Day
Punxsutawney Phil "saw" his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter.
German tradition holds that if a hibernating animal sees its shadow on Feb. 2 — the Christian holiday of Candlemas — winter will last another six weeks. If no shadow is seen, legend says spring will come early.

In Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania is a Party town today. Locals schools are closed and families are enjoying the festivities of Groundhog's day.
Back in my prime teenage years we celebrated this day by skipping school and driving to "The Hog's town" to watch him see his shadow. Lots of fun memories with Karen, Jodi, Amy, and Bary.
I'll be wearing my Groundhogs Day t-shirt today to celebrate a holiday only held in Punxautawney, PA.
