Happy Groundhog's Day Punxsutawney Phil "saw" his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter. German tradition holds that if a hibernating animal sees its shadow on Feb. 2 — the Christian holiday of Candlemas — winter will last another six weeks. If no shadow is seen, legend says spring will come early. In Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania is a Party town today. Locals schools are closed and families are enjoying the festivities of Groundhog's day. Back in my prime teenage years we celebrated this day by skipping school and driving to "The Hog's town" to watch him see his shadow. Lots of fun memories with Karen, Jodi, Amy, and Bary. I'll be wearing my Groundhogs Day t-shirt today to celebrate a holiday only held in Punxautawney, PA.

She did not quite understand lick. She tried to eat the candle. She was so ready to eat cake and ice cream. Bath time. She did not want to stop eating cake and ice cream.

Ella wanted to grab the flame. So I had to hold her while we sang to her. She did not like me holding her. Kind of stubborn. Every gift she received she had to show all of us individually what she got. She had to show us the tissue paper that she took out of the gift first, then the next piece of tissue paper, then each piece of the gift. And she always showed grandma and Aunt Kelsey. It was adorable and took a long time.

We are fortunate to have Grandma working at the Dentist office. Our kids get treated special. Thank you Grandma and Dr. Stutzneggers office! We appriciate you!

Lilly is holding Mr. Thirsty and Maddy is watching. The Hygienist was so nice to allow Lilly and Maddy to help clean Jaydn's teeth. Lilly and Maddy were very interested in what Jaydn was having done. (Just a cleaning). Ella wanted to watch too. Can hardlly see her cute little head poking up there! The Hygienist is introducing Mr.Thirsty to the girls. The girls are waiting so well to have thier teeth checked. Jaydn gets to pick out a new toothbrush. His favorite part.

I did not get to post on his birthday a few months ago so here is to make up for it! Our big 5 year old at Halloween! Hilarious Picture when we were growing his hair out for Aunt Katie's wedding. Katie's request. Aunt Katie told him to pop the collar and what a stud. Jaydn is almost 5 here! Our little cutie pie who had just turned 3. Jaydn loves his Daddy. He just turned 4.

He is 3 and loves Halloween. He second birthday. Love the new back pack. At age 1. Wow that looks like Ellas now! Jaydn's first Christmas. Our newborn baby boy.
