September update

Madalyn loves to ride her bike through our backyard into Rob and Raes back yard and back. I do not know what we will do when the time comes that one of us move out of the house. Olivia and Owen hanging out on the Barths swing. Gabriella playing in the neighbors yard. What will we do when we/they move. We love that the kids can go back and forth as they please. Jaydn's ninja powers. He likes to be the leader of there little group. He is the oldest and we all know how that goes when you kids. Lilly having fun with Owen again. Celebrated my 31st birthday with some friends at Celestinos. These boys are hilarious. I think Rob was trying to give Paul a little tickle. My camera caught the blur of it. Thanks friends for hanging out on that night. The girls that came. We had a good evening of pizza and bowling. The girls all did real well at bowling. It was by far my worst bowling night ever but it was a ton of fun. Kevin and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Reno, Neva...

Catch up of August

Image
I love to watch Jaydn play soccer. He is just like his Dad! Sweet soccer player. He has scored severl goals this year and is the youngest on the team. Kevin coaches his team called the Mustangs. Luck for us we have only had one game overlap. Olivia is pretty aggressive when we cheer her on from the side lines. Soccer season is coming to an end. Next year all three of our soccer age children will be on the same team. It will be awesome. Madalyn is an awesome defender. She really thinks about where she needs to be to stop that ball and turn it to her goal. I love this age of soccer because they are so cute. Kids score goals for the opposing team, occasional tears from being sad they got hurt, always a swarm of players all in one spot, and super excited when a goal is scored. I love it! Gabriella is not playing soccer but always having fun. Extra cake batter left over makes for a messy little girl. Jaydn on opening day back at the beginning of August. Go Mustangs! Soccer...

First Day of School!!!! Jaydn started 2 nd grade and Olivia and Madalyn started kindergarten. Olivia, Gabriella, Madalyn, and Jaydn all ready to walk to Standford Avenue to start our first day of school. Here are there cool poses. Maddy was so excited to start school this year. Maddy kept telling me if she were scared then she could just hang out with Olivia and her friends she already knew. Here is Olivia's cool pose. She too was super excited to start school this year. No signs of being nervous to stay yet... Jaydn's goofy pose. When he gets excited he starts to act silly. He is in a class with two teachers who split the week. We pray that it goes well. I did have to shed a tear or two thinking of how fast time has gone by. It was not too long ago that we were praying that they would be healthy happy babies and obviously our prayers were answered. Now off to school. They have been in school for 9 days now and I really do miss them a lot. They are pretty exhau...

Happy Birthday Kev

Image
We celebrated Kevin's birthday yesterday as a family. Just us 6, which is not a normal birthday for Kevin. Usually we get to be with his parents and siblings on his birthday, but unfortunately they were out of town. He was super grateful that his siblings all called on his birthday though. I thought it was funny that the majority of his siblings that did call mentioned him not getting a birthday cake from his mom. ( lol ) Good thing he has a wife to make him a cake! We really enjoyed our Sunday . Kevin is an amazing Daddy. We all know that he takes a huge part in being a Dad in our family. We all appreciate him. Gabriella was being a pill so Kev put her in a time out as I was cooking dinner. We went to check on her and she had fallen asleep like this. So the good Dad that Kevin is... he tucked her in for well needed nap. Here are all the kids helping Kevin open his presents. They love to open presents. It got to the point where we had to stop them because they were not...

My mom came to visit...

Image
On Wednesday of last week my mom flew into Sacramento to come visit with my family. The plan was to drive to Utah this past Mon day and enjoy our Utah family for 3 weeks, have a little girls weekend, catch up with my siblings, then have a week with Kevin's entire family. Saturday rolled around and we had a very disappointing phone call that Aunt Patty (mom's sister) passed away. Although it was something we new would eventually be coming, we did not realize she would go this quickly. She had been battling cancer that eventually took over her entire body. We are grateful for the peace she has now. My mother was very disappointed that she was not there. My mother had been helping take care of her for the last few months. Had my mother known that Aunt Patty was so close to passing on, she would have stayed with her until she died. Really I feel for my mother losing her mother and sister all in a year. She is an amazingly strong person. She has lost so many loved ones ...

While Jaydn was fishing in the river...

Image
While Jaydn was fishing in the river the girls became a bit board. I decided to try to capture the moment of them goofing off. I love moments like this. Not told to pose but voluntary. Olivia (left) and Madalyn (right). They were trying to pick eachother up and I requested they look my direction. So this is somewhat a pose picture. Olivia (left) and Madalyn (right). They often get so giggly with eachother. It can be so funny and at times a bit annoying. Olivia (left) and Madalyn (right). Olivia (left) and Madalyn (right). They are pretty close little girlies. Woops Madalyn dropped Olivia. Twin girls are awesome to have. I pray they stay close and do not get too difficult in their teenage years.
