A Tradition every Mothers Day weekend that we love !

Thomas had his 2 year check up today and his stats are better. He is now in the 10% for weight which is awesome. This past year he had been in the 2 to 3% weight. He should be saying 2 to 3 word sentences and is saying 4 plus words in sentences. He communicates well.   "No" is one of his favorite ways to communicate. He can throw a ball. He can sing his favorite songs (I am a Child of God and Sunbeam). He repeats anything we say "Oh my goodness" is a favorite.  He is right where he should be on playing with others and not sharing. We are working on the sharing part.  We love having him in our family. I am grateful for a healthy toddler today.

Birthday fun!

This past week... So as of Monday September 17th we have a little crawler.  I finally discovered why Thomas has hesitated to crawl.  It is the hard wood flooring!!!  He will only crawl on the carpet.  Poor little guy just did not want to hurt his little knees.  In the past week he has gone from rocking with a little movement to crawling across the room to me last night.  He is so cute and gets so excited. So now we need to baby proof the house again.  My little guy is getting sooo big :(. This past weekend  we went to Josh and Mallory's house for sweet little McKinley's baby blessing.  She is a super good baby who is mild mannered and a cute little butter ball.  Thomas enjoyed trying to give her open mouth kisses.  It was a nice little get away.  Josh gave a wonderful blessing to his sweet little girl.  It was awesome to see all of the family be together for such a wonderful event. This past year I have tried to put the idea that I need to post in the back of my mind.  Thinking that it was not important to me to keep a online journal of my family.  After all I have a personal journal for each of my kiddos that I write in from time to time.  This idea of posting will not leave my mind.  It won't go away for a couple of valid reasons.  One is that I have a horrible memory and I want to be able to remember what it was like to raise my children.  Another being some days it is nice to hear about your own childhood and learn more about yourself.  I would like to offer that to my kiddos.  Pictures help me to remember.  Most of my pictures bring a sense of joy as well.  So here it goes... I am going to try to keep a regular blog again.  I was reminded by my amazing mother-in-law that poor Thomas has not even made it to my blog.  This is were I will begin again. The Halloween candy for each of my kiddos. Holy cow it seems like a ton! It is tradition the past couple of years to go to Grandmas house after trick or treating. Grandma makes her yummy cocoa and we eat donuts. Thanks grammy for the yummy cocoa. Gabriella was showing uncle Michael her treats. The girls wanted to be their princess butterflies again. Jaydn was Mr.Incredible for school and a vampire for trick or treating. He actually figured out his outfit. He loved being a vampire. A little dark for me, but he is a good little guy so it was ok. Our cute little butterflies done getting treats. Gabriella did not want to wear her wings the entire night. She did great for how late it got by the time we were done. We took homemade sugar cookie to Madalyn and Olivia's class. Madalyns cookie looks sooo yummy. So thankful for my mother-in-law. I took a recipe that I had made and refridgerated on Sunday to moms house. This was my first time making surgar cookies. As we rolled...

Madalyn loves to ride her bike through our backyard into Rob and Raes back yard and back. I do not know what we will do when the time comes that one of us move out of the house. Olivia and Owen hanging out on the Barths swing. Gabriella playing in the neighbors yard. What will we do when we/they move. We love that the kids can go back and forth as they please. Jaydn's ninja powers. He likes to be the leader of there little group. He is the oldest and we all know how that goes when you kids. Lilly having fun with Owen again. Celebrated my 31st birthday with some friends at Celestinos. These boys are hilarious. I think Rob was trying to give Paul a little tickle. My camera caught the blur of it.
